Since 2015, we have been committed to public education, addressing urgent questions of race and inequality in culture and society through talks and events, and building a growing network of Stuart Hall Foundation scholars and artists in residence. We work collaboratively towards a racially just and more equal future.

What will you support?
Your continued donations give us long-term security and gives you a lasting involvement with our work. Even a small monthly contribution will make a big difference. By pledging a monthly gift for our work, you can help us producing a broader and more ambitious programme of events, conversations and artist commissions.
Money raised by the Friends of SHF Scheme goes towards the following and more:
Delivering our public programme of online and live events, commissioned research and writing, audio, visual and digital content.
Building our Scholars and Fellows network. We have awarded xx scholarships and fellowships and established a global support network of Stuart Hall Scholars and Fellows from disenfranchised and underrepresented networks.
Maintaining the legacy of Professor Stuart Hall’s by creating digital resources and educational materials that reflect his critical line of questioning
Bringing artists, activists and academics together to share ideas around contemporary urgencies

How to become a Friend of SHF
Becoming a Friend of SHF starts at £10 per month and every donation really does make a difference. To become a Friend, please complete the donation from on the right.
