The Stuart Hall Foundation launch and fundraiser

More than 300 people joined us for a stimulating and spirited afternoon of discussion and performances, hosted by the journalist and broadcaster Jon Snow. Guardian journalist Gary Younge gave an exceptional keynote speech reflecting on race in the UK and the US, and Professor Catherine Hall and novelist Andrea Levy read extracts from Professor Stuart Hall’s memoir Familiar Stranger: A Life between Two Islands (to be published in April 2017).
